Power Path
Supporting Students In Further Education, Secondary Education & Primary.
Lewis Jackson - Founder & Mentor
Built for real life. Backed by results.
Power Path Mentoring supports schools and further education providers to unlock the potential in young people, particularly those at risk of disengagement, low confidence, or behavioural challenges.
We deliver a relationship-based, outcome-focused mentoring service that adapts to the needs of the setting and the individual. Drawing on extensive experience in education, safeguarding, behaviour support, and sport, we work with students to develop resilience, self-belief, emotional intelligence, and accountability.
Our approach is structured but flexible, combining mentoring, targeted group work, and active delivery where appropriate. This allows students to engage meaningfully, build positive behaviours, and develop the mindset and skills needed to succeed both within education and in their future pathways.

Who we work with
Power Path Mentoring works across education settings, adapting our approach to meet the specific needs of each environment.
Why Power Path is Different
Most mentoring services focus on either wellbeing or discipline. Power Path combines both and uses active movement, sport, and real-world experience to accelerate trust, engagement, and impact.
Our approach brings together:
-
The discipline, resilience, and accountability developed through sport
-
The empathy, patience, and consistency required in pastoral care
-
The leadership skills gained from managing people in high-pressure environments
-
The safeguarding and systems-based understanding of education
-
The balance, perspective, and responsibility of full-time fatherhood
This unique blend means students don’t just listen to advice — they experience mentoring that feels authentic, relevant, and practical, leading to meaningful and lasting change.
What It Looks Like in Practice
Power Path Mentoring is delivered in a way that fits naturally within your education or sport programme, complementing existing structures rather than replacing them.
Support is provided through a combination of mentoring, targeted group work, and active delivery, depending on the needs of the setting and the students or young people involved.
Delivery formats include:
A structured referral and review process that is delivered remotely and designed to identify strengths, highlight development needs, and provide practical recommendations for next steps.
-
Suitable as an early intervention tool, a student support measure, or a player development review.
-
1-to-1 Mentoring
Targeted support for students or players requiring focused guidance around behaviour, confidence, emotional regulation, or progression.
-
Small Group Mentoring & Player Development
Tailored sessions with identified groups (typically 4–8 participants), supporting shared challenges such as behaviour standards, engagement, confidence, or professionalism.
-
On-Field Development Mentoring (Sport & Football Programmes)
Small group or positional football sessions designed to develop confidence, decision-making, emotional control, and professional behaviours through realistic training scenarios.
-
Cohort / Squad Development Sessions
Workshops or group sessions reinforcing shared standards, accountability, resilience, and positive culture within a programme or year group.
-
Ongoing Liaison & Follow-Up
Regular communication with staff to ensure alignment with pastoral, safeguarding, and development priorities.
All programmes are designed collaboratively, ensuring support is needs-led, safeguarding-aware, and outcome-focused.
The Outcomes
Education and sport programmes that work with Power Path typically see improvements in:
-
Student and player confidence, resilience, and self-belief
-
Behaviour, accountability, and professional standards
-
Engagement, attendance, and consistency
-
Emotional regulation and decision-making under pressure
-
Safeguarding awareness and positive relationships
-
Long-term skills in self-discipline, focus, and personal responsibility
-
Simply put, students and players don’t just leave sessions motivated — they leave with practical tools, greater self-awareness, and a clearer sense of direction.
Meet the Founder
Coach Lewis
Power Path Mentoring was founded by Lewis Jackson (Coach Lewis), whose approach to mentoring has been shaped by experience across professional football, fitness coaching, leadership roles, and pastoral education.
Lewis represented Mansfield Town, Doncaster Rovers, and Chesterfield at academy level, played semi-professionally within the non-league pyramid, and has worked extensively in youth development through football coaching. Alongside this, he has supported adults with autism, led teams of over 30 staff within funeral care, and worked as an education and sports mentor with Northampton Town FC Community Trust.
Within education, Lewis has held roles as a behaviour and safeguarding lead, pastoral mentor, and Head of Year, supporting students aged 12–16 through complex behavioural, emotional, and personal challenges.
Now, as both a mentor and full-time father, Lewis brings together lived experience, professional standards, and genuine care to deliver a mentoring service that education and sport settings can trust — one that develops resilience, accountability, confidence, and positive future pathways.
